Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required unless waived by Human Resources Management
  • minimum two years working in food and beverage and/or hospitality industry
  • one year bartending experience required unless waived by hiring manager
  • must obtain ABC certificate of safe alcohol server training
  • excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • strong guest service skills
  • attention to detail
  • problem solving skills
  • must pass pre-employment drug/alcohol screen
  • background investigation required
  • must obtain and maintain gaming license
  • ability to stand for prolonged periods
  • ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
  • ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • ability to work in indoor and outdoor environments with variable conditions
  • must have normal auditory, visual acuity, and verbal communication skills

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Promotes positive customer relations
  • greets customers and creates a friendly atmosphere
  • promotes and documents orders for drinks
  • recites selection of all call and premium brands from memory
  • takes orders from customers promptly and in a friendly manner
  • inspects menus and special cards daily
  • prepares all food and beverage items using prep sheets and standard ingredient recipes
  • prepares and serves cocktails and beverages accurately and without waste according to specifications and ABC requirements
  • inputs orders at point of sale
  • creates checks for each customer
  • maintains accountability of all beverages served
  • prepares and displays food and merchandise in accordance with ServeSafe and regulatory standards
  • presents accurate checks to guests promptly
  • cleans up after customers at the bar
  • maintains an orderly and clean work area
  • maintains proper bar setup
  • washes glassware and utensils after each use
  • serves food to customers seated at the bar
  • checks identification for age verification
  • provides safe and responsible alcohol service
  • ensures displays and refrigerators are clean and stocked
  • keeps an organized work area for guest interaction and safety
  • maintains inventory and supplies based on business volumes
  • responds professionally to customer questions and concerns
  • safeguards casino monies by balancing house bank
  • arranges bottles and glasses attractively
  • maintains knowledge of all food venues, beverage service, and casino-related information
  • attends staff meetings
  • follows guidelines for alcohol service, safety, and customer service
  • contributes to team efforts
  • performs other duties as required
