Job Requirements

  • Previous bartending experience required
  • Experience in restaurants, hotels, cruise ships, or assisted living required
  • Serv-Safe Certified preferred
  • Strong customer service skills and a passion for hospitality
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
  • Minimum of three years hands-on bartending including some proven management experience
  • Must have food handler certification or be willing to obtain
  • Must have a positive criminal background screening
  • Must be able to work weekends and holidays
  • The community is a drug free workplace, associates subject to adherence to the company drug free workplace policy

Job Duties

  • Create a fun and welcoming atmosphere for residents and guests
  • Mix, shake, and serve beverages with skill and flair
  • Support special events with top-notch service
  • Ensure safety, cleanliness, and compliance with all service standards
  • Responsible for the accounting and recording of all beverage sales
  • Ensure that the bar is stocked and prepared to meet daily business demands
  • Greet guests by name with a smile and in a friendly manner
  • Serve non-alcoholic beverages and water in the same courteous manner as when serving alcoholic beverages
  • Mix drinks, cocktails, and bar beverages as ordered and in compliance with company standards
  • Responsible for properly filling orders placed by servers promptly and efficiently
  • Assist Dining Services Director with menu pricing, beverage preparation, inventory, and sanitation
