Job Requirements

High school diploma or GED
must be 21 years of age or older or in accordance with state law
certified in responsible alcohol service by applicable agency
ability to walk, sit and stand for long periods
must be able to work different shifts including holidays, nights and weekends
must be able to work overtime as required
strong communication and interpersonal skills

Job Qualifications

Minimum of one year experience in bartending
previous experience in restaurant or hospitality industry
strong ability to handle money
proficiency in operating a point-of-sale system
basic understanding of beer, wine, spirits and sake
ability to maintain professionalism and courteous demeanor during busy times
certified in responsible alcohol service
must be eligible to work in the United States

Job Duties

Prepare and serve beverages according to standard recipes
interact positively with guests to enhance their experience
accurately handle cash and operate point-of-sale systems
maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
offer and serve food items to guests
collect payment for drinks served
adhere to responsible alcohol service guidelines
