Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
  • at least 1 year of related work experience
  • no supervisory experience
  • ability to stand, sit, or walk for long periods
  • ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds

Job Duties

  • Prepare drink orders according to recipes
  • issue, open, and serve wine and champagne bottles
  • maintain cleanliness and order of bar and related areas
  • prepare fresh garnishes for drinks
  • stock ice, glassware, and supplies
  • transport supplies to bar set-up area
  • wash soiled glassware
  • remove soiled wares and maintain workspace cleanliness
  • anticipate and communicate replenishment needs
  • process all payment methods
  • count bank at end of shift and complete reports
  • resolve payment discrepancies
  • secure cash bank and alcohol storage
  • complete closing duties
  • follow all safety and security policies and report issues
  • maintain professional appearance
  • protect company assets
  • welcome and acknowledge guests
  • anticipate and address guest service needs
  • communicate clearly and professionally
  • develop positive working relationships with team
  • ensure adherence to quality expectations
  • perform physical tasks including lifting and moving up to 50 pounds
  • perform additional duties as assigned by supervisors
