Job Requirements
- Current, legal and unrestricted ability to work in the United States
- Must be minimum 21 years of age
- High school or equivalent education required
- Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing in English
- Food Service Handler Card and TABC certification currently valid for at least 6 months
- Knowledge of and ability to mix a wide variety of drinks
- Five years bartending or similar experience or progressive promotion and training within the Beverage department
- Preferred 1-2 years' experience in a full service restaurant or lounge
Job Qualifications

- Ability to think outside the box and approach issues with creativity
- Excellent customer relations, communication, and organization skills
Job Duties
- Prepare cocktails for cocktail servers and guests of the Virgin Hotel using prescribed recipes
- Maintain company funds and equipment in an orderly manner
- Interact with guests in a manner, which makes them feel comfortable and welcome
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Assist in the delegation of duties to barbacks
- Monitor proper par levels of all supplies at assigned bars
- Communicate any problems or situations detrimental to property to immediate supervisor
- Responsible for the security and accuracy of assigned bank and is accountable for all overages and shortages
- Must be physically present at work, in assigned workstation, to perform all functions required of the position
- Always communicate effectively, with customers as well as all levels of employees
- Observe and direct actions of barbacks and to inspect and maintain areas for which responsible
- Distinguish between different denominations of currency and make change
- Review and comprehend all necessary documentation
- Use the equipment associated with the position, including but not limited to the cash register and all bar equipment
- Retrieve supplies and maintain a clean working area
- Other duties as assigned
