Job Description
This position is offered by a dynamic and guest-focused restaurant specializing in delivering excellent hospitality, craveable food, and beverages within a fun and clean atmosphere. The establishment prioritizes customer satisfaction and strives to create memorable dining experiences for every guest that walks through its doors. With a commitment to operational excellence, the restaurant embraces a servant leadership philosophy, emphasizing serving others first and adhering strongly to company policies, quality standards, and relevant federal, state, and local laws. Employees at this venue are expected to maintain high energy, enthusiasm, and passion while embodying the core values encapsulated in their P.R.I.D.E. culture throughout each shift.
The role of the bartender at this establishment is integral to providing stellar customer service and contributing to the warm, lively ambiance that patrons enjoy. The bartender's responsibility goes beyond just mixing drinks; it involves welcoming and engaging with customers, personalizing their experience by calling them by name, and efficiently managing the bar as if it were their own business. This role requires an individual who can skillfully place accurate orders through the point-of-sale system, deliver hot and cold food promptly, pre-bus tables, and manage beverage service responsibly. The bartender must also demonstrate an extensive knowledge of the menu, including the variety of seafood specials, beverage selections, and the ability to ask pertinent questions to ensure order satisfaction.
Additionally, the bartender supports other staff by running drinks, stocking the work area, assisting hosts with seating guests at the bar, and performing sidework during opening, ongoing, and closing shifts to maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the service period. Safety, sanitation, and customer satisfaction are paramount, with the bartender expected to handle complaints professionally and escalate them when necessary. This role is suited for candidates with at least a high school education or GED and between one to three years of relevant bartending experience. The successful candidate must also meet state minimum age requirements for alcohol service and be physically capable of handling the demanding, fast-paced nature of the work, including standing for long periods, lifting heavy items, and navigating busy, sometimes tight spaces.
This bartending opportunity offers a chance to grow within a renowned restaurant environment that values teamwork, professionalism, and a genuine commitment to creating an outstanding dining experience. Applicants can expect to work in a supportive setting where personal initiative, customer interaction, and a positive attitude are highly rewarded. Whether handling to-go orders, managing the bar station, or engaging with customers, the bartender plays a crucial role in shaping the reputation and continued success of this vibrant food and beverage establishment.
