Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Two (2) years of bartending experience in a high-end or fast-paced restaurant or hotel setting
  • Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, cocktail recipes, and wine/spirit pairings
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to handle a high-volume environment with a positive attitude and quick thinking
  • TIPS (Training for Intervention Procedures) or similar responsible alcohol service certification preferred
  • Experience working in a luxury hotel or fine dining restaurant is a plus

Job Duties

  • Prepare a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to recipe standards and guest specifications
  • Demonstrate knowledge of craft cocktails, beer, wine, and spirits
  • Provide exceptional and personalized guest service, engaging with customers to make recommendations, answer questions, and ensure satisfaction with every order
  • Adhere to all food and beverage regulations, including responsible alcohol service, health and safety guidelines, and hotel policies
  • Assist in tracking and maintaining bar stock levels, ensuring timely replenishment of ingredients, glassware, and other supplies
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area throughout the shift, including workstations, utensils, and bar equipment
  • Work seamlessly with bar staff, servers, and kitchen team to ensure smooth operations and timely service
  • Offer informed recommendations to enhance guest experiences, including upselling premium options and menu pairings
  • Accurately manage guest tabs, process payments, and balance cash drawers at the end of each shift
  • Assist with private events, themed nights, and other hotel programming requiring bar service
