Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
relevant experience in hospitality preferred
ability to stand for long periods
capable of lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally
strong communication skills
customer service orientation
ability to multitask under pressure
willingness to work flexible hours
adherence to hotel policies and safety regulations
commitment to personal grooming and professionalism
ability to maintain confidentiality

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
experience in hotel or related field preferred
flexible to work long hours
ability to exert medium work with occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds
ability to stand during entire shift
effective verbal and written communication skills
attentive, friendly, courteous and service oriented manner
ability to listen, understand and clarify concerns
multitasking and prioritization skills
ability to attend required meetings and trainings
maintain regular attendance as per hotel standards
maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming
comply with hotel standards and regulations

ability to cross-train in other hotel areas

Job Duties

Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times
be attentive, friendly, helpful, and courteous to all guests, managers and fellow employees
set up the bar according to hotel standards and ensure guests are served promptly and efficiently
prepare beverages and cocktails according to the hotel’s mixing and presentation standards
serve guests with all beverage requirements in a friendly, courteous and professional manner
break down bar after functions, storing liquor, supplies and equipment per hotel standards
follow all state liquor laws
know hotel services and facilities
abide by all hotel policies and safety rules
serve liquor responsibly to avoid problems with intoxicated guests
respond to guests’ problems, complaints and accidents
be familiar with fire exit and extinguisher locations and operations
keep bar and service areas clean and tidy during service
ensure overall guest satisfaction
perform other duties as requested by management
