The company prides itself on having a talented culinary team that drives the core of its business, focusing on delivering memorable experiences through hospitality and culinary excellence. At Morrison Living, employees have the opportunity to work with great team members, make an impact in the lives of those served, and build a fulfilling career with one of the nation’s top hospitality companies.

Currently, Morrison Living is hiring for part-time Bartender positions at the Luther Crest location in Allentown, Pennsylvania. This role offers a competitive fixed pay rate of $18.00 per hour and does not include tips. The part-time schedule typically runs from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm, with hours and days varying to include weekends and holidays. The company accepts applications online only and encourages qualified candidates who have prior bartender experience to apply.

The Bartender position involves preparing and serving beverages to guests in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner while adhering to all state, federal, and corporate liquor laws and regulations. Bartenders at Morrison Living are responsible for setting up their assigned bar areas, maintaining stock of beer, wine, spirits, garnishes, glassware, and other supplies. They ensure product quality by preparing fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes and juices. Bartenders are also tasked with greeting guests, taking and processing drink orders using standard recipes, practicing prudent portion control, and checking guest identification to prevent serving to minors or intoxicated individuals.

In addition to serving beverages, Bartenders handle cash transactions accurately, secure beverage and cash inventories, and maintain cleanliness and organization of their work areas to comply with health and safety standards. They also create attractive displays of bottles and glasses in the bar area to enhance guest experience. The position requires vigilance in detecting and acting upon guest inebriation appropriately. The role demands attention to detail, excellent customer service skills, and a thorough understanding of liquor regulations.

Morrison Living offers a range of benefits to its associates, including retirement plans, associate shopping programs, health and wellness programs, discount marketplaces, identity theft protection, pet insurance, and various voluntary benefits such as critical illness, accident, and hospital indemnity insurance, legal services, and auto and home programs. Full-time employees are additionally eligible for comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and disability benefits along with commuter benefits and employee assistance programs. Associates may also qualify for paid or unpaid time off benefits according to applicable laws. Morrison Living is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion and provides equal employment opportunities to all applicants and associates regardless of their background. The company maintains a drug-free workplace and may require background screenings depending on the position and location.

This Bartender role is an excellent opportunity for those passionate about hospitality and who enjoy working in a dynamic, team-oriented environment.
