The Bartender must demonstrate detailed knowledge of the food and beverage menu, ensuring that each guest receives service that meets Sonesta's high standards. This includes setting up the bar with the necessary supplies and garnishes before service begins, managing bar stock by inventorying unused liquor, and securing all beverage items before and after shifts. Accuracy and honesty in cash handling and point-of-sale procedures are paramount, as well as meticulous upkeep of the bar area throughout the shift.

They work well independently and as part of a team, maintain high performance with minimal supervision, and observe uniform and grooming standards. Holding valid food handler and TIPS certifications and previous front-facing guest service experience are required.
