Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum one year of bartending experience
  • Knowledge of beverage preparation and bartending operations
  • Familiarity with bar sanitation procedures
  • Ability to comply with state and federal alcohol laws
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to stand, walk, kneel and lift up to 25 pounds regularly
  • Effective communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible shifts
  • No direct supervisory responsibilities

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • Thorough knowledge of beverage preparation and bartending operational procedures
  • Understanding of bar sanitation procedures
  • At least one year of similar experience in bartending
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and recipes
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Knowledge of state and federal alcohol laws
  • Ability to work flexible shifts based on business needs
  • Ability to handle cash accurately
  • Team player with a professional attitude

Job Duties

  • Set up the bar in function area in accordance with TPC standards
  • Ensure par stock levels of required beverage inventory per Banquet Event Order
  • Ensure bar and immediate bar area is clean and properly stocked
  • Assume responsibility for security of bar area
  • Make and serve beverages as requested in a friendly, courteous and timely manner
  • Advise supervisor of any member/guest complaints
  • Ensure compliance with state and federal laws related to alcohol and tobacco
  • Attend pre-banquet meetings as requested
  • Follow procedures to identify members/guests legally allowed to be served alcoholic beverages
  • Close and break down the bar at designated times
  • Reconcile beverage consumption and inventory
  • Clean bar and bar area thoroughly
  • Prepare and serve beer, wine and cocktails according to specifications
  • Handle and count cash, make accurate change and record sales
  • Ensure adherence to TPC brand standards and sanitation rules
  • Assist other employees as needed with banquet services
  • Serve beverages professionally and courteously
  • Perform special projects or other duties as assigned
