Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • At least one year of similar bartending experience
  • Knowledge of beverage preparation techniques
  • Familiarity with bar sanitation procedures
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Capability to lift and move up to 25 pounds
  • Strong communication skills
  • Compliance with state and federal alcohol regulations
  • Ability to work various shifts depending on business needs
  • No travel required for this position
  • No direct supervisory responsibilities

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent education
  • Knowledge of beverage preparation and bartending operations
  • Experience with bar sanitation procedures
  • Minimum of one year in a similar bartending role
  • Ability to follow standard recipes and measure accurately
  • Understanding of state liquor laws
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic cash handling abilities
  • Capability to attend pre-event meetings and follow operational protocols

Job Duties

  • Set up the bar in function area in accordance with TPC standards
  • Ensure par stock levels of required beverage inventory per Banquet Event Order
  • Ensure bar and immediate bar area is clean and properly stocked at all times
  • Assume responsibility for security of bar area
  • Do not allow unauthorized persons behind bar
  • Make and serve beverages as requested in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner
  • Advise supervisor of any member or guest complaints for immediate resolution
  • Ensure compliance with R.A.M. or Tips programs and all state and federal alcohol laws
  • Attend pre-banquet meetings as requested
  • Follow procedures to properly identify guests legally allowed to be served alcoholic beverages
  • Recognize and prevent service to intoxicated guests
  • Close and break down the bar at designated times
  • Reconcile beverage consumption and inventory
  • Clean bar and bar area thoroughly
  • Prepare and serve beer, wine, and cocktails per standard operating procedures
  • Handle and count cash accurately
  • Operate within guidelines set by PGA TOUR Golf Course Properties, Inc
  • Ensure service procedures adhere to TPC Brand Standards
  • Maintain proper sanitation and comply with food service sanitation regulations
  • Assist other employees with banquet services as needed
  • Serve beverages professionally and courteously
  • Perform special projects or other duties as assigned
