Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- At least one year of bartending experience
- Knowledge of beverage preparation
- Familiarity with bar sanitation procedures
- Ability to comply with state and federal alcohol laws
- Ability to handle cash transactions
- Capability to stand and move for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Effective communication skills
- Willingness to work flexible shifts based on business needs
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent education
- Thorough knowledge of beverage preparation and bartending operational procedures
- Knowledge of bar sanitation procedures
- At least one year of similar bartending experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced event service environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Understanding of state liquor laws and alcohol service regulations
Job Duties
- Set up the bar in function area in accordance with TPC standards
- Ensure par stock levels of required beverage inventory per Banquet Event Order if applicable
- Ensure bar and immediate bar area is clean and properly stocked at all times
- Assume responsibility for security of bar area and do not allow unauthorized persons behind the bar
- Make and serve beverages as requested in a friendly, courteous and timely manner following TPC standards and proper pouring and garnishing techniques
- Advise supervisor of any member or guest complaints for immediate resolution
- Ensure compliance with operating guidelines related to R.A.M. or Tips programs and all state and federal laws and regulations concerning alcohol
- Attend pre-banquet meetings as requested
- Follow procedures for identifying members/guests legally allowed to be served alcoholic beverages
- Inform management of intoxicated members or guests and do not serve them
- Close and break down the bar at designated times, reconcile beverage consumption and inventory, clean bar thoroughly and store equipment properly
- Prepare and serve beer, wine and cocktails according to standard operating procedures
- Handle and count cash, make accurate change and record sales as prescribed
- Operate within guidelines, policies, and standards set by PGA TOUR Golf Course Properties, Inc
- Ensure service procedures adhere to TPC Brand Standards
- Maintain proper sanitation according to jurisdictional and club regulations
- Assist with banquet services as needed
- Serve beverages professionally and courteously
- Perform special projects or other assigned duties
