Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED degree or related training equivalent
  • one plus year of relevant work experience in similar scope and title
  • experience within luxury brand or markets
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to perform all bartender tasks accurately
  • ability to utilize property management systems
  • ability to follow cash handling procedures
  • ability to work flexible schedules including varied hours
  • physical ability to stand and walk up to 8 hours daily
  • ability to lift up to 20 lbs
  • ability to cope with noisy, fast-paced work environment
  • willingness to attend training and follow safety protocols

Job Qualifications

  • ability to read and interpret safety rules and manuals

Job Duties

  • Greet and interact with internal and external guests in a warm and professional manner
  • operate the telephone system with proper etiquette
  • maintain guest privacy and confidentiality
  • maintain company proprietary information and protect assets
  • maintain thorough knowledge of menu items, beer, liquor, and wine
  • clear and reset counters or tables after courses
  • assist dining servers with food and beverage service
  • serve beverages and clean menus and tables
  • transport dirty dishes to the dishwashing station
  • polish silver and glassware
  • present menus and make food and beverage suggestions
  • seat guests in dining room
  • recommend and pair wines
  • serve food and beverages efficiently and professionally
  • relay orders to kitchen via POS
  • total bills and accept payments
  • utilize property management systems and follow cash handling procedures
  • set up bar and dining room efficiently
  • complete opening and closing procedures and side work
  • inventory and restock supplies
  • maintain neatness and adhere to sanitation standards
  • comply with company policies and procedures
  • maintain professional appearance
  • follow safety and security policies
  • accommodate guests with disabilities
  • support the team and attend required trainings
  • perform additional duties as assigned
