Job Requirements

At least six months of experience as a bartender
Valid food handler certification
Valid TIPS or equivalent certification
Ability to communicate in English
Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation
Basic mathematical skills
Manual dexterity in hands
Ability to use a knife and handle glassware
Ability to remember and recite menu items
Ability to operate point of sale system
Maintain a professional appearance and manner
Good communication skills
Team player
Ability to comply with attendance rules and work regularly

Job Qualifications

At least six months of experience as a bartender
Food handler and TIPS or equivalent certifications
Ability to communicate in English
Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service of various alcoholic beverages
Basic mathematical skills necessary to operate a cash register and perform financial transactions
Sufficient manual dexterity to use a knife for garnishes, handle glassware and bottles, scoop ice, mix drinks, and reach overhead for stock
Ability to remember, recite and promote the variety of menu items
Ability to operate a keyboard and point of sale procedures
Professional appearance and manner
Good communication skills with guests
Team player attitude and willingness to assist co-workers

Job Duties

Maintains proper and adequate set-up of the bar on a daily basis
Requisition and stock all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws, stirrers, condiments, and produce
Maintain stock, cut, and store fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and perishables daily to ensure product quality
Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner, promoting and documenting orders for drinks
Mix, garnish, and present drinks using standard ingredient recipes and practicing prudent portion control
Abide by all state, federal and corporate requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages
Input orders into a register at the point of sale and create a check for each guest to maintain accountability
Receive cash from guests, make change, verify charges, record charges, and ensure proper execution of vouchers
Lock up and store all beverage, food and other equipment items, deposit cash drops and secure bank
Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis
Perform other job related duties as assigned
