As a Bartender at Pacific Seafood's The Fish Peddler Restaurant, you will play a vital role in delivering excellent bar service to guests and supporting the service team. The position involves preparing and serving a wide variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner. You will maintain a strong working knowledge of bar products and mixology techniques while managing bar inventory, pricing, and ordering operations. This role requires a passion for mixology trends, creativity in drink preparation, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment where guest satisfaction is paramount. The responsibilities of the bartender include overseeing bar inventory and ordering supplies, developing bar menus, and managing brand standards within the establishment. You will be expected to demonstrate expert bartending skills, prepare drinks according to precise company recipes and protocol, and practice alcohol awareness to ensure the safety of all guests. Handling cash transactions accurately and securing all monies at the end of each shift are important components of the job. Maintaining a clean and sanitary work environment in compliance with health regulations is also essential. In addition to these operational duties, the bartender is responsible for fostering team development and accountability within the bar staff. This includes assisting with wine and spirit training for the wider service team and providing prompt, attentive responses to guest needs and concerns. The role occasionally involves assisting in the dining room to support service flow and performing other related duties as assigned.
