Job Description

Oak View Group (OVG) is a globally recognized leader in the premium live entertainment infrastructure and services industry. Since its inception in 2015, OVG has established itself as a powerhouse by focusing on the end-to-end capabilities across venue development, management, hospitality, and sponsorship sales. This dynamic company manages and owns a select portfolio of seven world-class venues and works alongside some of the most iconic arenas, stadiums, convention centers, music festivals, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions across four continents. The company prides itself on delivering exceptional live experiences through innovative venue solutions and high-quality service, creating lasting memories for millions of guests worldwide. OVG is committed to diversity and inclusion and fosters an environment where voices from different backgrounds are amplified, directly contributing to the continuous disruption and growth of the sports and live entertainment sectors.

The Bartender role at Oak View Group is a pivotal position in the hospitality segment, focused on delivering top-tier beverage service, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. The bartender must demonstrate a personable and professional demeanor, ensuring excellent guest service while adhering to company standards and regulatory requirements. This is a seasonal opportunity starting from July 29, 2026, through August 9, 2026, with an hourly wage ranging from $16.90 to $20.00 plus tips, making it an attractive temporary role for individuals seeking to work in the live entertainment space.

In this role, bartenders are responsible for mastering various drink menus and following pre-shift preparation notes meticulously to provide quick and accurate service. Emphasis is placed on compliance with state and federal regulations regarding alcohol service, including age verification and responsible pouring practices. Bartenders are expected not only to mix and serve drinks efficiently but also to engage guests by suggesting relevant product upsells to enhance their experience. Furthermore, bartenders need to skillfully manage difficult situations, such as dealing with intoxicated patrons, by employing de-escalation techniques and collaborating with management or security when necessary.

Maintaining a clean and sanitary workstation is crucial, as is ensuring that bar equipment remains well-maintained and fully operational throughout events. Bartenders are also tasked with the responsibility of managing the bar’s cash bank accurately and restocking inventory as needed. Their duties may extend to setting up and breaking down bar equipment and organizing supplies to maintain operational efficiency. The role demands excellence in attendance, flexibility to work nights, weekends, and long hours, and an ability to thrive in a team-oriented yet self-directed work environment.

Overall, this Bartender position at Oak View Group offers a unique opportunity to be part of a leading live entertainment company at the forefront of event experiences. It is ideal for individuals with a passion for hospitality, a strong work ethic, and the ability to perform under pressure while delivering exceptional guest engagement in a vibrant, ever-changing setting.
