  • ability to manage difficult guest situations professionally

Job Duties

  • demonstrate ability to meet company standards for guest service interaction and uniform standards
  • follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus
  • serve alcoholic beverages according to state and federal regulations
  • have knowledge of various beers wines and spirits and upsell products
  • pour drinks responsibly according to serving size standards
  • check guest IDs to verify legal drinking age
  • communicate cut-offs to guests
  • listen and respond to customer requests and concerns
  • de-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security as necessary
  • request or restock product as needed
  • handle cash accurately and manage assigned bar bank
  • maintain clean and sanitary work station and ensure bar equipment is clean and well maintained
  • set up and break down bar equipment and assist with cooler organization
