Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Six months or more bartending experience
  • Accurate cash handling ability
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • Knowledge of state and federal alcohol service regulations
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to manage guest interactions professionally and responsibly

  • Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and long hours
  • Bartending school preferred

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate excellent guest service, interaction with co-workers and uniform standards
  • Follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus to provide service
  • Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages following state and federal regulations
  • Learn and suggestively upsell various beer, wine varieties and spirits
  • Pour drinks responsibly according to company serving size standards
  • Check guest IDs to verify age requirements
  • Communicate cut-offs to guests when necessary
  • Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
  • De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and involve management or security as needed
  • Handle cash accurately and maintain issued bank at the bar
  • Maintain clean and sanitary workstations and bar equipment
  • Set up and breakdown bar equipment and assist with cooler organization as required
