Job Requirements
- Must demonstrate ability to meet company standards for guest service interaction and uniform standards
- Follow bar pre-shift notes and menus
- Serve alcoholic beverages according to state and federal regulations
- Have knowledge of beer, wine varieties and spirits
- Pour drinks responsibly
- Check guest IDs as required
- Communicate cut-offs
- Handle customer requests and concerns
- De-escalate intoxicated guest situations
- Contact management or security when needed
- Request and restock bar products
- Handle cash accurately
- Maintain a sanitary workstation
- Assist with setup and breakdown of bar equipment
- Ability to work flexible schedule including nights and weekends
Job Qualifications
- Six months or more bartending experience
- Accurate cash handling skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and long hours
- Bartending school preferred
Job Duties
- Meet the company standard for excellence in guest service interaction and uniform standards
- Follow bar pre-shift notes and menus and provide service accordingly
- Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures and regulations
- Learn and suggestively upsell various beer, wine varieties and spirits
- Pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company standards
- Verify guest IDs to comply with legal age requirements
- Communicate cut-offs to guests as required
- Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
- De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security as needed
- Request and restock bar products as required
- Handle cash accurately at the bar station
- Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation and ensure equipment is well maintained
- Perform setup and breakdown of bar equipment
- Assist with organization of the cooler
- Perform other duties as assigned
