Job Requirements

  • Must demonstrate ability to meet company standards for guest service interaction and uniform standards
  • Follow bar pre-shift notes and menus
  • Serve alcoholic beverages according to state and federal regulations
  • Have knowledge of beer, wine varieties and spirits
  • Pour drinks responsibly
  • Check guest IDs as required
  • Communicate cut-offs
  • Handle customer requests and concerns
  • De-escalate intoxicated guest situations
  • Contact management or security when needed
  • Request and restock bar products
  • Handle cash accurately
  • Maintain a sanitary workstation
  • Assist with setup and breakdown of bar equipment
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including nights and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • Six months or more bartending experience
  • Accurate cash handling skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and long hours
  • Bartending school preferred

Job Duties

  • Meet the company standard for excellence in guest service interaction and uniform standards
  • Follow bar pre-shift notes and menus and provide service accordingly
  • Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures and regulations
  • Learn and suggestively upsell various beer, wine varieties and spirits
  • Pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company standards
  • Verify guest IDs to comply with legal age requirements
  • Communicate cut-offs to guests as required
  • Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
  • De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security as needed
  • Request and restock bar products as required
  • Handle cash accurately at the bar station
  • Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation and ensure equipment is well maintained
  • Perform setup and breakdown of bar equipment
  • Assist with organization of the cooler
  • Perform other duties as assigned
