Since its founding in 2015, OVG has expanded its reach across four continents, managing a collection of seven world-class venues and catering to an esteemed client base comprised of iconic arenas, stadiums, convention centers, music festivals, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions. With excellence as a hallmark, OVG is known for its pioneering role in transforming live entertainment experiences worldwide through innovative venue solutions and dedicated operational expertise.
The role of Bartender at OVG is both dynamic and essential, focusing on delivering exceptional beverage service within the company’s diverse and fast-paced venue environments. This part-time position, which pays an hourly rate of $4.00 to $5.00 plus tips, requires a personable and professional individual who thrives in a high-energy, ever-changing workplace. The bartender is charged with the preparation and service of a wide range of beverages, including both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options, ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulations. The role demands a keen ability to engage guests warmly and professionally while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
A core responsibility is adherence to company standards in service excellence, uniform presentation, and teamwork. The bartender must be knowledgeable about various beers, wines, and spirits, capable of making informed recommendations and suggestive upselling to enhance the guest experience. Attention to detail is critical, especially when verifying customer IDs and monitoring consumption to prevent over-serving.
Working as part of a collaborative team, the bartender maintains cleanliness and sanitation at their station, manages cash accurately, and participates in the setup and breakdown of bar equipment. The individual is also expected to handle de-escalation in instances involving intoxicated guests, engaging management or security as necessary. Flexibility in scheduling is essential due to the event-driven nature of the work, often requiring availability during nights, weekends, and extended hours.
OVG’s commitment to diversity, inclusion, and equal employment opportunity underscores its hiring philosophy. The company fosters a culture where varied perspectives and backgrounds fuel innovation and service excellence. Bartenders joining OVG become part of a team dedicated not only to the craft of hospitality but also to creating inclusive and celebratory environments reflective of the communities served. The position remains open until August 14, 2026, inviting candidates who seek to contribute to a leading-edge enterprise in the live entertainment industry while advancing their career in a supportive, diverse, and growth-oriented setting.
