Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • must be at least 21 years old
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
  • knowledge of state and federal alcohol laws
  • excellent attendance and punctuality
  • ability to work in fast-paced environment
  • strong communication skills
  • cash handling experience

Job Qualifications

  • six months or more experience bartending
  • accurate cash handling skills
  • ability to prioritize tasks in fast-paced environment
  • ability to be self-directed while working in team-oriented environment
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends and long hours
  • bartending school preferred

Job Duties

  • demonstrate ability to meet company standards for guest service, interaction with co-workers and uniform standards
  • follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described
  • serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures including state and federal regulations
  • learn and have knowledge of various beer, wine, and spirits and suggestively upsell products to guests
  • pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company serving size standards
  • check guest ID to verify minimum age requirements
  • communicate cut-offs to guests as required
  • listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
  • de-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security if needed
  • request additional or restock product as required
  • handle cash accurately and maintain clean and sanitary work station
  • perform set-up and breakdown of bar equipment and assist in cooler organization
  • other duties as assigned
