Job Requirements

  • Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages
  • Must maintain excellent attendance
  • Must be personable and professional
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be available to work events as scheduled
  • Must communicate effectively with guests and team members
  • Ability to de-escalate difficult guest situations
  • Must have knowledge of state and federal alcohol regulations
  • Availability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • Six months or more experience bartending
  • Accurate cash handling skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and long hours
  • Bartending school preferred

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate ability to meet company standards for guest service interaction and uniform standards
  • Follow bar pre-shift notes and menus and provide service as described
  • Serve alcoholic beverages following state and federal regulations
  • Learn or have knowledge of various beer, wine varieties and spirits and suggestively upsell products
  • Pour drinks responsibly in accordance with serving size standards
  • Check guest's ID to verify minimum age requirement
  • Communicate a cut-off to a guest as required
  • Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
  • De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management if required
  • Request additional product or restock as necessary
  • Handle cash accurately and manage issued bank
  • Maintain clean and sanitary workstation and bar equipment
  • Perform set-up and breakdown of bar equipment and assist with cooler organization
  • Other duties as assigned
