Job Requirements

Must be of legal age to serve alcoholic beverages
Must maintain excellent attendance
Must be personable and professional
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Must be available to work events as scheduled
Must communicate effectively with guests and team members
Ability to de-escalate difficult guest situations
Must have knowledge of state and federal alcohol regulations
Availability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends

Job Qualifications

Six months or more experience bartending
Accurate cash handling skills
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and long hours
Bartending school preferred

Job Duties

Demonstrate ability to meet company standards for guest service interaction and uniform standards
Follow bar pre-shift notes and menus and provide service as described
Serve alcoholic beverages following state and federal regulations
Learn or have knowledge of various beer, wine varieties and spirits and suggestively upsell products
Pour drinks responsibly in accordance with serving size standards
Check guest's ID to verify minimum age requirement
Communicate a cut-off to a guest as required
Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management if required
Request additional product or restock as necessary
Handle cash accurately and manage issued bank
Maintain clean and sanitary workstation and bar equipment
Perform set-up and breakdown of bar equipment and assist with cooler organization
Other duties as assigned
