Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Six months or more bartending experience
Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
Good communication skills
Ability to stand for extended periods
Must be legally permitted to serve alcohol
Ability to handle cash accurately
Reliable transportation
Ability to work under pressure

Job Qualifications

Six months or more bartending experience
Accurate cash handling skills
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work self-directed in a team-oriented environment
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and long hours
Bartending school preferred

Job Duties

Meet company standard for excellent guest service interaction with co-workers and uniform standards
Follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide described service
Serve alcoholic beverages following proper procedures including state/federal alcohol distribution regulations
Learn and suggestively upsell beer, wine, and spirits to guests
Pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company serving size standards
Check guest ID to verify minimum age for alcohol purchase
Communicate cut-off to guests as required
Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
De-escalate intoxicated guest situations
Contact management or security for confrontational or belligerent guests
Request additional or restock product as required
Handle cash accurately and manage issued bank at bar
Maintain clean and sanitary work station
Ensure bar equipment is clean and well maintained
Perform set-up and breakdown of bar equipment and assist with cooler organization
