Job Duties

  • demonstrate ability to meet company standards for guest service interaction with co-workers and uniform standards
  • follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus to provide service
  • serve alcoholic beverages following state and federal regulations
  • learn and have knowledge of various beer wine varieties and spirits and suggestively upsell products to guests
  • pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company standards for serving size
  • check guest's ID to verify minimum age for alcohol purchase
  • communicate a cut-off to a guest as required
  • listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
  • de-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security if needed
  • contact management if unable to resolve or make a decision beyond standard decision-making
  • request additional product or restock product as required
  • handle cash accurately and manage assigned bank
  • maintain clean and sanitary work station and ensure bar equipment is clean and maintained
  • perform other duties such as set-up and breakdown of bar equipment and assisting with cooler organization
