Job Requirements

  • Must demonstrate ability to meet the company standard for excellent guest service interaction with co-workers and uniform standards
  • Follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus
  • Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures and regulations
  • Responsible for knowledge of various beer wine varieties and spirits
  • Pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company standards
  • Check guest's ID to verify minimum age requirement
  • Communicate a cut-off to guests as required
  • Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
  • Able to de-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security as required
  • Contact management if unable to resolve or make decisions beyond scope of standard decision-making
  • Request additional or restock product as required
  • Handle cash accurately and maintain issued bank
  • Maintain clean and sanitary workstation and bar equipment
  • Perform set-up and breakdown and assist with cooler organization

Job Qualifications

  • Six months or more experience bartending
  • Accurate cash handling skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights weekends and long hours
  • Bartending school preferred

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate ability to meet company standards for guest service interaction with co-workers and uniform standards

  • Serve alcoholic beverages following proper procedures and regulations
  • Learn and suggestively upsell various beer wine varieties and spirits to guests
  • Pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company standards
  • Check guest's ID to verify minimum age for alcohol purchase
  • Communicate a cut-off to guests as required
  • Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
  • De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security if needed
  • Contact management if unable to resolve issues beyond standard decision-making
  • Request additional or restock products as needed
  • Handle cash accurately and maintain the issued bank
  • Maintain clean and sanitary workstation and ensure bar equipment is clean and well maintained
  • Perform set-up and breakdown of bar equipment and assist with cooler organization
