Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Six months or more bartending experience
Knowledge of federal and state alcohol laws
Ability to work flexible hours including nights weekends and holidays
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
Capacity to lift up to 50 pounds
Reliable attendance
Ability to handle cash transactions accurately

Job Qualifications

Six months or more bartending experience
Accurate cash handling skills
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights weekends and long hours
Bartending school preferred

Job Duties

Demonstrate ability to meet company standards for guest service interaction with co-workers and uniform standards
Follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus providing service as described
Serve alcoholic beverages in compliance with state and federal regulations
Learn and suggestively upsell various beer wine and spirit products
Pour drinks responsibly according to company serving size standards
Check guest's ID to verify minimum age for alcohol purchase
Communicate cut-off to guest as needed
Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security if necessary
Request additional products and restock as required
Handle cash accurately and be responsible for the bar bank
Maintain clean and sanitary work station and ensure bar equipment is clean and well maintained
Perform other duties such as set-up and breakdown of bar equipment and assisting with cooler organization
