  • Accurate cash handling skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible schedule including nights weekends and long hours

Job Qualifications

  • Six months or more experience bartending

  • Ability to work flexible schedule including nights weekends and long hours
  • Bartending school preferred

Job Duties

  • Meet company standards for guest service interaction with co-workers and uniform standards
  • Follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described
  • Serve alcoholic beverages following proper procedures and state/federal regulations
  • Learn and suggestively upsell beer wine and spirits
  • Pour drinks responsibly according to company standards
  • Check guest IDs to verify age for alcohol purchase
  • Communicate a cut-off to a guest as required
  • Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
  • De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security if needed
  • Contact management when unable to resolve or make decisions beyond standard scope
  • Request additional product or restock as required
  • Handle cash accurately and manage the bar bank
  • Maintain clean and sanitary work station and bar equipment
  • Perform set-up and breakdown of bar equipment and assist with cooler organization
