Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Six months or more bartending experience
  • Accurate cash handling skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in fast-paced environments
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including nights and weekends
  • Ability to communicate effectively
  • Ability to maintain excellent attendance and punctuality
  • Must be of legal drinking age
  • Bartending school preferred

  • Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends and long hours
  • Bartending school preferred

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate ability to meet company standards for guest service interaction and uniform standards
  • Follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus for providing service
  • Serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures including state and federal regulations
  • Learn and suggestively upsell various beers, wines, and spirits
  • Pour drinks responsibly according to company serving size standards
  • Verify guest’s ID to comply with legal drinking age requirements
  • Communicate cut-off to guests when required
  • Respond to customer requests and concerns
  • De-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security when necessary
  • Contact management when decisions exceed standard scope
  • Request and restock bar products as needed
  • Handle cash accurately and manage bar-issued bank
  • Maintain clean and sanitary workstation and well-maintained bar equipment
  • Assist with setup, breakdown of bar equipment and organization of cooler
