Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
six months or more experience in bartending or similar role
knowledge of state and federal alcohol regulations
ability to handle cash transactions accurately
strong communication and interpersonal skills
ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
ability to maintain professionalism under pressure

Job Qualifications

Six months or more experience bartending
accurate cash handling skills
ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment
excellent interpersonal and communication skills
ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and long hours
bartending school preferred

Job Duties

Demonstrate ability to meet company standards for guest service, interaction with co-workers and uniform standards
follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described
serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures including state and federal regulations
learn or have knowledge of various beer, wine varieties and spirits and suggestively upsell products to guests
pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company standards for serving size
check guest's ID to verify minimum age requirement for alcohol purchase
communicate a cut-off to guests as required
listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
de-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security if necessary
request additional product or restock as required
handle cash accurately and maintain responsibility for issued bank
maintain clean and sanitary work station and ensure bar equipment is clean and well maintained
perform other duties such as set-up and breakdown of bar equipment and organizing the cooler
