Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • six months or more experience in bartending or similar role
  • knowledge of state and federal alcohol regulations
  • ability to handle cash transactions accurately
  • strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
  • ability to maintain professionalism under pressure

  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and long hours
  • bartending school preferred

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate ability to meet company standards for guest service, interaction with co-workers and uniform standards
  • follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described
  • serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures including state and federal regulations
  • learn or have knowledge of various beer, wine varieties and spirits and suggestively upsell products to guests
  • pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company standards for serving size
  • check guest's ID to verify minimum age requirement for alcohol purchase
  • communicate a cut-off to guests as required
  • listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
  • de-escalate intoxicated guest situations and contact management or security if necessary
  • request additional product or restock as required
  • handle cash accurately and maintain responsibility for issued bank
  • maintain clean and sanitary work station and ensure bar equipment is clean and well maintained
  • perform other duties such as set-up and breakdown of bar equipment and organizing the cooler
