Job Duties
- Meet company standards for guest service interaction with co-workers and uniform standards
- Follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus to provide service
- Serve alcoholic beverages in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Learn and suggest various beer wine and spirits options to upsell products
- Pour drinks responsibly in accordance with company standards
- Check guests' ID to verify minimum age requirements for alcohol purchase
- Communicate cut-offs to guests as required
- Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
- De-escalate intoxicated guest situations
- Contact management or security if guests become confrontational or belligerent
- Request additional product or restock as needed
- Handle cash accurately and manage issued bar bank
- Maintain clean and sanitary workstation and bar equipment
- Perform setup and breakdown of bar equipment and assist with cooler organization
