Job Requirements
- Minimum six months bartending experience
- Ability to handle cash accurately
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and long shifts
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations regarding alcohol service
Job Qualifications
- Six months or more experience bartending
- Accurate cash handling skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to be self-directed while working in a team-oriented environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and long hours
- Bartending school preferred
Job Duties
- Demonstrate ability to meet company standards for guest service, interaction with co-workers, and uniform standards
- Follow bar pre-shift notes and menus and provide service as described
- Serve alcoholic beverages following proper procedures and adhering to state and federal alcohol regulations
- Learn and maintain knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits varieties and suggestively upsell products
- Pour drinks responsibly according to company serving size standards
- Check guest's ID to verify minimum age requirement for alcoholic beverages
- Communicate a cut-off to guests as required
- Listen and respond to customer requests or concerns
- De-escalate intoxicated guest situations
- Contact management or security if a guest becomes confrontational or belligerent
- Request additional product or restock as needed
- Handle cash accurately and manage assigned bank
- Maintain a clean and sanitary workstation
- Ensure bar equipment is clean and well maintained
- Assist with setup and breakdown of bar equipment and organization of the cooler
- Other duties as assigned
