Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • six months or more bartending experience
  • accurate cash handling skills
  • knowledge of alcoholic beverage laws and regulations
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights weekends and holidays
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • ability to de-escalate difficult situations
  • physical ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights

Job Qualifications

  • Six months or more experience bartending
  • accurate cash handling skills
  • ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • ability to be self-directed while working in a team environment
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • ability to work a flexible schedule including nights weekends and long hours
  • bartending school preferred

Job Duties

  • Demonstrate ability to meet company standards for guest service interaction and uniform standards
  • follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described
  • serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures and regulations
  • learn and have knowledge of various beer wine and spirits and suggestively upsell products to guests
  • pour drinks responsibly in accordance with serving size standards
  • check guest IDs to verify age requirements
  • communicate a cut-off to guests as required
  • respond to customer requests or concerns
  • de-escalate intoxicated guest situations
  • contact management or security when necessary
  • request or restock product as needed
  • handle cash accurately and manage issued bank at bar
  • maintain clean and sanitary work station
  • ensure bar equipment is clean and well maintained
  • assist with setup breakdown of bar equipment and cooler organization
