Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
six months or more bartending experience
accurate cash handling skills
knowledge of alcoholic beverage laws and regulations
ability to work flexible hours including nights weekends and holidays
excellent communication and interpersonal skills
ability to de-escalate difficult situations
physical ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights

Job Duties

Demonstrate ability to meet company standards for guest service interaction and uniform standards
follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described
serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures and regulations
learn and have knowledge of various beer wine and spirits and suggestively upsell products to guests
pour drinks responsibly in accordance with serving size standards
check guest IDs to verify age requirements
communicate a cut-off to guests as required
respond to customer requests or concerns
de-escalate intoxicated guest situations
contact management or security when necessary
request or restock product as needed
handle cash accurately and manage issued bank at bar
maintain clean and sanitary work station
ensure bar equipment is clean and well maintained
assist with setup breakdown of bar equipment and cooler organization
