Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- six months or more bartending experience
- accurate cash handling skills
- knowledge of alcoholic beverage laws and regulations
- ability to work flexible hours including nights weekends and holidays
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to de-escalate difficult situations
- physical ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights
Job Qualifications
- Six months or more experience bartending
- accurate cash handling skills
- ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- ability to be self-directed while working in a team environment
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- ability to work a flexible schedule including nights weekends and long hours
- bartending school preferred
Job Duties
- Demonstrate ability to meet company standards for guest service interaction and uniform standards
- follow bar pre-shift notes and bar menus and provide service as described
- serve alcoholic beverages following all proper procedures and regulations
- learn and have knowledge of various beer wine and spirits and suggestively upsell products to guests
- pour drinks responsibly in accordance with serving size standards
- check guest IDs to verify age requirements
- communicate a cut-off to guests as required
- respond to customer requests or concerns
- de-escalate intoxicated guest situations
- contact management or security when necessary
- request or restock product as needed
- handle cash accurately and manage issued bank at bar
- maintain clean and sanitary work station
- ensure bar equipment is clean and well maintained
- assist with setup breakdown of bar equipment and cooler organization
