Job Qualifications

Basic knowledge of food and beverage preparation and service of various alcoholic beverages
Basic mathematical skills necessary to operate a cash register and handle monetary transactions
Ability to communicate in English
Ability to use a knife to make garnish and manual dexterity to scoop ice, mix drinks and retrieve stock
Ability to remember and promote menu items
Ability to operate a keyboard and point of sale system
Ability to stand and work in confined spaces for extended periods
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships
Professional appearance and manner
Self-starting personality with even disposition
Team player willing to assist co-workers

Job Duties

Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the bar on a daily basis including requisitioning and stocking of all supplies
Responsible for maintaining stock, cutting, and storing of all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables daily
Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner and promote and document orders for drinks
Mix, garnish and present drinks using standard ingredient recipes and portion control
Abide by all state, federal and corporate requirements pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages and ensure proper liquor controls
Input orders into a register at the point of sale and create checks for all guests to maintain accountability
Receive cash, make change, verify charges and ensure vouchers are properly executed to balance all monies
Lock up and store all beverage, food and other equipment items and secure cash deposits
Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis
Perform any other job-related duties as assigned
