Job Description
Red Lobster is a renowned family-owned seafood restaurant chain that has been delighting guests for over fifty years. Originating from a small family establishment, the company has grown into a stellar network of over 500 restaurants, each dedicated to delivering a unique connection to seafood and the coast. Red Lobster is not just a place for dining but a vibrant part of the communities it serves. The company prides itself on creating memorable meals and moments for its guests, transforming ordinary dining experiences into special occasions. Employees at Red Lobster become part of a family where new friendships are fostered and familiar faces are the norm, making it a unique and fun place to work. The company is committed to diversity, equality, and providing a welcoming environment for everyone, regardless of age, race, religion, gender identity, or veteran status.
The role of a Bartender at Red Lobster is both dynamic and rewarding. This position requires a friendly and professional individual who enjoys creating a positive guest experience by providing excellent service and delicious drinks. You'll be responsible for welcoming guests with a smile, setting up the bar, restocking items as necessary, and ensuring all drinks meet the highest standards using precise recipes and garnishes. Attention to detail is critical, as is the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. As a bartender, you will not only serve beverages but also suggestively sell appetizers and desserts, enhancing the dining experience and increasing sales. You will take accurate food and drink orders via the POS system, check back with guests to ensure satisfaction, provide refills, clear tables, and manage the timely delivery and settling of checks with warmth and professionalism. Safety and hygiene are paramount, requiring adherence to all food safety standards. Physical stamina is also important since the role involves standing for 8 to 12-hour shifts and safely lifting up to 30 pounds. Red Lobster supports its team with flexible scheduling, competitive wages with weekly pay, and comprehensive benefits such as medical, dental, and vision insurance starting at an affordable rate. Additional perks include life insurance, short-term disability, voluntary benefits, a 401(k) plan with company match after one year, anniversary pay, discounted meals, and career advancement opportunities through training. This role is perfect for a team player who thrives in a community-oriented setting and seeks to grow within a successful and expanding company.
