The role of a Non-Tipped Bartender at Sodexo's Lake Forest Academy location is a part-time, on-call position that offers competitive pay ranging from $22 to $25 per hour. This position is primarily scheduled for weekend afternoon and evening shifts, with more specific details provided during the interview process. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 0 to 1 year of relevant experience
  • Ability to prepare a wide range of drink recipes accurately is preferred
  • Must be of legal age to serve alcohol according to local and state laws
  • Must be able to walk or stand for extended periods
  • Must be able to lift 35 to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Must be able to perform repetitive motions
  • Must reliably attend scheduled shifts on time

Job Qualifications

  • Must meet minimum age requirements to serve alcohol according to local and state regulations

Job Duties

  • Greet customers and mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks with appropriate garnishes
  • Ensure the assigned bar area is fully stocked with necessary tools and products to mix and serve drinks
  • Prepare accurate opening counts and issue inventory or purchase orders as needed to replenish supplies
  • Interact with customers in a friendly, diplomatic, and attentive manner
  • Walk or circulate extensively throughout the shift
  • Stand or walk for long periods, possibly exceeding 8 hours per shift
  • Perform repetitive motions and occasionally lift or move items weighing up to 50 pounds
