Job Description

Freedom Pointe at The Villages is a vibrant senior living community dedicated to providing exceptional care and a rich lifestyle experience for older adults. Located in the heart of The Villages, this community is part of a larger network that focuses on fostering a supportive and engaging environment for its residents. Known for its warm, welcoming atmosphere and commitment to excellence, Freedom Pointe offers a range of senior services, blending compassionate care with social and recreational activities designed to enhance quality of life for its residents. The establishment prides itself on its professional team, which includes healthcare providers, activity coordinators, culinary staff, and hospitality professionals, all working together to create a home-like environment where seniors can thrive.

As a bartender at Freedom Pointe at The Villages, you will be a key member of the hospitality team, responsible for delivering bar service in the community's cocktail lounge. This role is perfect for individuals who enjoy engaging with older adults, listening to their stories, and creating moments of joy through thoughtful service. If you have experience in bartending within hotels, restaurants, or clubs, especially with fine dining exposure, you will find this position rewarding and fulfilling. The bartender role at Freedom Pointe is not just about mixing drinks; it's about building relationships and contributing to the vibrant social atmosphere that defines the community.

This position offers a starting pay rate of $14.50 per hour and is categorized as a non-tipped role, recognizing the importance of fair and consistent compensation. Freedom Pointe emphasizes a supportive workplace culture that includes opportunities for career growth within the senior services sector, which is one of the fastest-growing fields in the United States. Employees benefit from paid time off, paid holidays, ongoing training, and the chance to participate in campus-wide events that foster team spirit and community engagement.

The bartender role demands courtesy, tact, and excellent communication skills, particularly in English, to effectively connect with residents, visitors, families, and team members. Candidates must be at least 21 years old and will be expected to maintain professionalism at all times. Freedom Pointe offers unique benefits such as DailyPay, allowing employees to access their earned wages on-demand, contributing to financial flexibility. Both full-time and part-time staff have access to benefits including health, dental, vision insurance, and a 401K retirement plan. The community is also charter school eligible, which can be an added advantage for employees with schooling requirements.

Hiring events are regularly hosted by Freedom Pointe to connect with passionate individuals ready to join their team. On April 3, 2026, from 10 am to 2 pm, there will be an onsite hiring event with interviews available, providing a great opportunity for interested applicants to learn more about the role and apply in person. Freedom Pointe is an equal opportunity employer with a commitment to diversity and inclusion, conducting thorough background checks through the Agency for Healthcare Administration to ensure the highest standards of safety and care.

Joining Freedom Pointe at The Villages means becoming part of a community-oriented company that values each team member’s contributions, invests in professional development, and prioritizes creating a joyful environment for seniors. Whether you are starting a new career in senior living or building on existing hospitality experience, this role offers meaningful work with lasting impact.
