Job Requirements
- Direct deposit and social security card required upon appointment
- Meet qualification eligibility and background requirements for the position
- Satisfactory completion of E-Verify employment verification
- One year probationary period may be required
- Physical examination may be required
- Able to obtain Tier 1 background investigation
- Able to work weekdays weekends holidays and various hours of the day and week when required
Job Qualifications
- Must meet state or local age requirements for serving alcohol
- Experience as a full-service bartender
- Skilled in mixing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Proficient in math skills necessary for calculating bills and taking inventory
- Experience in bartending within the last two years
- Experience in a resort, hotel, nightclub, or restaurant setting
- Knowledge of Micros POS Systems
Job Duties
- Operate a full-service bar mixing and serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- Assist customers by discussing beverage options and mixing drinks according to customer direction
- Record sales and handle transactions including making change and preparing charge slips
- Stock and restock the bar as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the bar, utensils, equipment, and work area
- Keep records of beverage quantities dispensed and submit restocking requirements to supervisor
- Receive and check quantity and description of stock
- Provide work direction to other employees in the bar area
- Use tact and courtesy to refuse sales to intoxicated or unruly patrons
- Train and guide other employees
- Recognize intoxicated or unruly patrons and take necessary remedial action
- Ensure overall operation of the bar including accountability for receipts and inventory
