The Bartender role at Milk & Honey offers a unique opportunity for a talented mixologist passionate about crafting extraordinary cocktails to join a dynamic team dedicated to delivering exceptional guest experiences. This position is central to elevating the bar program by blending artistic flair with mixology mastery. Candidates will be responsible for creating visually stunning, creative cocktails that showcase an expert understanding of spirits, wines, and cocktail techniques. Beyond just drink preparation, the Bartender will play a key role in immersing guests in a genuine Southern hospitality atmosphere by engaging with patrons through stories, charming anecdotes, and exceptional service.
Expected to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, the Bartender must maintain meticulous attention to detail in every pour and presentation to ensure the highest quality and visual appeal. Job Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and repetitive arm and hand movements
- Ability to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 30-40 pounds
- Manual dexterity to pour, mix, garnish, and handle glassware safely
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
- Tolerance for exposure to noise, crowded spaces, and varying temperatures
- Ability to multitask efficiently and respond quickly to customer needs
Job Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 months experience
- Able to work calmly and effectively under pressure
- Able to perform basic mathematical calculations
- Must be of legal age to prepare, serve, and ring alcoholic beverages
- Able to work flexible shifts and schedules, including weekends and some holidays
- Certified or able to be certified in responsible alcohol service
- Able to communicate effectively in the primary language of the work location
