Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- must hold a current Texas Server's Permit
- ability to work flexible hours including nights weekends and holidays
- basic working knowledge of cash register and cash handling procedures
- sufficient math ability to accurately count and handle money
- basic working knowledge of bar operation
- ability to follow directions and effectively perform work
- pleasant personality and neat appearance
- ability to stand and walk for the duration of shift
- ability to carry and lift up to 25 pounds
- must speak and understand English well enough to converse with customers supervisors and employees
- positive customer service oriented attitude
- strong knowledge of sanitary practices
- maintains proper grooming and dress code standards
- ability to undertake and complete multiple tasks
- attention to detail

Job Duties
- Sets up and services individual beverage locations
- properly handle cash
- enforce all liquor laws
- verify and account for all liquor inventory
- maintain proper sanitation of work area
- follow proper safety practices in the work area
- provide pleasant and efficient service to customers
- report to F&B personnel in appropriate uniform for assigned location
- prepare all beverage items for sale in the station
- sell to customers charging amount indicated on ASM GLOBAL price list
- receive and handle cash and/or tickets
- accurately verify all cash and liquor inventory with supervisor
- verify cash register is programmed properly according to ASM GLOBAL approved sales prices
- follow bar procedures
- follow all rules and regulations which apply to beverage operations and ASM GLOBAL Food and Beverage Division
- request identification for every guest purchasing alcohol
- perform other related duties as assigned by Food Service Manager
- manage bartending staff based on planning schedule
- ensure all event requirements are ready before the event
- act as liaison between wait staff and kitchen staff to ensure timely and appropriate communications
- observe the event managing the operation and being visible to accommodate guest needs
- ensure closing procedures are met after event
- enforce campus rules and policies
- act as manager on duty in absence of F&B Manager
- incorporate safe work practices in job performance
- maintain regular and reliable attendance
- perform other duties as required
