Job Requirements

Must meet state minimum age for serving alcoholic beverages
at least 1 year of closely related bartending experience
knowledge of beer, wine, and spirits preparation and presentation
ability to interact with public and coworkers in a friendly, enthusiastic and outgoing manner
ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents
ability to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds
cash handling and customer service experience preferred
frequently immerses hands in water diluted with chemical solutions
documentation of completion of Bartenders Local 165 Training program and craft exam passed

Job Duties

Greet customers and take food order
provide information about products and look for opportunity to up-sell products
follow recipes and product directions for mixing beverages
collect payments and operate cash registers following company cash handling policies
secure all monies at the end of each shift
follow alcohol awareness procedures and handle intoxicated guests appropriately
ensure a clean, sanitized and well-stocked bar
communicate ticket times and potential problems to manager and servers
perform other responsibilities as assigned by management
