The Non-Appropriated Fund (NAF) Community Programs Branch (N92) under the Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) Recreational Fleet and Family Readiness Support Services (N94) operates within the Commander, Navy Region Hawaii, at Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam (JPHH), Honolulu, Hawaii. Job Requirements
- Must be 21 years old or older
- Ability to walk or stand for prolonged periods
- Capability to frequently handle objects weighing up to 20 lbs and occasionally up to 40 lbs
- Must communicate clearly and effectively in English verbally and in writing
- Must meet Federal employment suitability requirements
- Successful completion of background investigation using fingerprint identification and background inquiry forms
- No positive education requirement
Job Qualifications
- Knowledge and skill to mix and serve beverages from a bar with limited varieties
- Understanding of correct proportions and mixtures for beverage preparation
- Ability to recognize intoxicated or unruly patrons and handle situations effectively
- Skill in collecting and reconciling tabs or chits accurately
- Strong communication skills in English both verbal and written
- Ability to establish and maintain effective interpersonal relationships
- Must be at least 21 years old
Job Duties
- Mix and serve beverages from a limited bar selection including liquor, soda, beer, and wine
- Prepare pre-mixed beverages such as daiquiris according to standard recipes
- Recognize and respond to intoxicated or unruly patrons appropriately
- Collect tabs or chits and reconcile them with quantities and prices of items dispensed
- Stand or walk for prolonged periods while handling bar-related tasks
- Maintain effective communication and relationships with patrons and team members
- Ensure compliance with rules and safety standards in beverage service
