Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Previous bartending experience preferred
Must have TIPS certification and meet state law age requirements for tending bar
Successful completion of a background check prior to employment

Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Basic knowledge of mixology and beverage preparation

Job Duties

Mix ingredients such as liquor soda water sugar and bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks
Serve wine draught bottled beer non-alcoholic beverages and food
Collect money for drinks served
Order and requisition liquors and supplies
Stock and replenish glasses beverages mixes fruit and guest supplies
Place bottled goods and glasses to make an attractive display
Wash glasses bar and equipment
Slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks and prepare appetizers such as pickles cheese and cold meats
Take the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner
If functioning in a lead capacity take responsibility for assigned associates in the absence of the supervisor assign work and ensure proper performance of assigned associates
Perform other duties as assigned by the leader
