The opportunity at Caesars Entertainment is for a Bartender, a crucial role within the company’s food and beverage division. This position involves providing excellent beverage service, including wine, liquor, and related drinks, in a manner that is efficient, courteous, and professional. The Bartender is responsible for preparing and mixing drinks accurately following specific recipes, ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to company standards. Additionally, this role includes handling transactions such as cash, room charges, and complimentary tickets responsibly according to management guidelines, maintaining accountability for an assigned cash bank, and ensuring the bar is well stocked and kept clean and sanitary in line with departmental standards.

Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Ability to uphold the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business
Must be at least 21 years of age
Must be able to obtain Missouri Gaming License
Ability to work any shift including holidays and weekends
Present a well-groomed appearance
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to operate handheld device to take beverage orders
Ability to work independently along with a team mentality
Ability to bend, twist, turn, push and pull and lift or carry at least 25 lbs
Ability to stand for prolonged periods or entire shift
Ability to work at a fast pace and handle stressful situations
Tolerance to second-hand smoke, high noise levels, bright lights and dust
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English
Ability to maneuver in high traffic and office areas and respond to visual and aural cues
Strong mathematical abilities and accurate record keeping

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

Provide wine, liquor, and related bar service to guests in an efficient, courteous and professional manner
Prepare and mix drinks accurately according to prescribed recipes
Register beverage transactions, handle cash, room charges, and complimentary tickets according to management procedures
Account for assigned bank, all money received, and all transactions during shift
Ensure assigned bar is stocked with all necessary supplies and liquor and complete related job duties
Maintain assigned station in a clean and sanitary condition following department service standards
Operate handheld device to take beverage orders
