Job Description

The current opening is for full-time Bartender positions at the Delta Sky Club located at 7800 Colonel H. Weir Cook Memorial Drive, Indianapolis, IN. This role is critical in ensuring that guests receive friendly, courteous, and timely service while enjoying a broad selection of beverages. The bartender will be responsible for preparing and serving drinks, maintaining bar inventory and displays, and adhering strictly to state, federal, and corporate regulations related to alcohol service. With a fixed pay rate of $13.00 per hour, the position requires previous bartending experience and involves a full-time schedule covering evenings on Monday, Thursday, and Friday, plus both morning and evening shifts on Saturday and Sunday.

As a Bartender at Eurest, you will be expected to uphold high-quality service standards and maintain a clean and organized workspace. You will prepare the bar with necessary supplies, manage fresh garnishes, control portions by using standard recipes, and engage with guests to provide an outstanding customer experience. Adherence to liquor laws, responsible identification checking, and intervention in cases of guest inebriation are essential parts of the role. Additionally, cash handling duties such as receiving payments, making change, and securing funds are included. Job Requirements

  • Previous bartending experience is required
  • Ability to adhere to state, federal and corporate liquor regulations
  • Ability to work a full-time schedule including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to identify and respond to guest inebriation
  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and safety standards
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred

Job Duties

  • Prepare and serve beverages to guests in a friendly, courteous and timely manner
  • Adhere to state, federal and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests
  • Set up assigned bars
  • requisition and stock all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice and produce
  • Maintain stock, prepare, cure and store all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables to ensure product quality
  • Greet guests in a courteous, friendly manner
  • Take and/or process orders for drinks
  • mix, garnish and present drinks using standard ingredient recipes
  • practice prudent portion control
  • Check guests at the bar for proper identification
  • Detect and act upon guest inebriation as trained
  • Demonstrate knowledge of liquor laws
  • Receive cash from guests, make change, verify validity of charges, record charges and ensure vouchers are properly executed
