The position available is for a part-time Bartender role located at Delta ATL, 2600 Maynard H Jackson Jr Blvd, Atlanta, GA 30354. The role offers a fixed hourly pay rate of $15.00 and follows a part-time schedule typically from Friday through Sunday, 6:30 am to 2:30 pm. This schedule allows for an excellent work-life balance and is ideal for individuals looking for weekend employment opportunities in a vibrant airport environment.

The Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving beverages to guests in a friendly, courteous, and timely manner while adhering to all relevant state, federal, and corporate liquor laws and regulations. The position requires maintaining bar stock, setting up the bar for service, preparing fresh garnish and perishables, and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the bar area. Bartenders will check guest identification, manage cash and voucher transactions accurately, and follow company policies regarding responsible alcohol service, including detecting and addressing signs of guest intoxication. This role demands excellent customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous bartending experience preferred
  • Previous customer service experience preferred
  • Ability to work a part-time schedule including weekends
  • Must be at least 21 years old
  • Ability to stand for extended periods
  • Strong communication skills

Job Duties

  • Adhere to state, federal and corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages
  • Set up assigned bars including requisitioning and stocking all beer, wine, spirits, paper products, straws and stirrers, condiments, glassware, ice and produce
  • Maintain stock, prepare, cure and store all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables to ensure product quality
  • Greet guests in a courteous, friendly manner
  • Take and/or process orders for drinks, mix, garnish and present drinks using standard ingredient recipes, practice prudent portion control
  • Check guests at the bar for proper identification
  • Detect and act upon guest inebriation as trained
  • Receive cash from guests, make change, verify validity of charges, record charges and ensure vouchers are properly executed
  • Lock up and store all beverage product, food, equipment items, deposits and cash drops
  • Perform general cleaning tasks to adhere to health and safety standards
  • Arrange bottles and glasses to maintain an attractive display in the bar area
  • Wash and sterilize stemware
  • Perform other duties as assigned
