Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must have high school diploma or GED
- Must have at least one year of bartending experience or equivalent
- Must hold a valid Maricopa County Food Handlers card
- Must be able to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to stand for prolonged periods
- Must be able to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least one year of bartending experience or completion of in-house training as bar back or beverage server
- Valid Maricopa County Food Handlers card
- Knowledge of Arizona State Liquor Laws and Arizona Alcohol Awareness certification a plus
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work quickly and accurately in stressful situations
- Team player mindset
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
Job Duties
- Ensure excellent customer service for every guest, every time
- Take orders from customers or beverage servers
- Mix ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks
- Serve wine and draught or bottled beer
- Collect money for drinks served
- Operate a cash register, ringing the proper amount into the register and giving the guest or server the correct change
- Arrange bottles and glasses to make attractive displays
- Slice and pit fruit for garnishing drinks
- Replenish bar snacks such as chips, pretzels, and nuts where available
- Maintain cleanliness of designated areas as directed in accordance with established health and safety standards
- Ensure that designated work areas, flatware, glasses, dinnerware and other items used to serve customers are free from hazards such as chips, breaks, cracks, liquid on the floor
