Job Requirements

  • Ability to multi-task and perform in high-pressure situations
  • must be able to walk or stand for extended periods (6+ hours)
  • must be able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs, and occasionally 45 lbs or more (e.g., kegs, tables, chairs)

Job Qualifications

  • Previous bartending experience preferred
  • must meet legal age requirements for serving alcohol
  • current Food Handler certification required
  • current Responsible Beverage Service (RBS) certification required
  • TIPS certification preferred or must obtain upon hire
  • proven record of honesty, reliability, and trustworthiness in handling payments and orders

Job Duties

  • Greet guests, present menus, answer questions, and take food and beverage orders
  • accurately process all transactions, including guest and staff orders, ensuring integrity in handling payments at all times
  • prepare and serve beverages (cocktails, beer, wine, coffee, tea) in accordance with recipes and brand standards
  • maintain full knowledge of beverage offerings, including spirits, beers, wines-by-the-glass, after-dinner drinks, and non-alcoholic options
  • create and suggest drink recipes to enhance the guest experience
  • prepare appetizers and light food items according to recipes and high food safety standards
  • adhere strictly to food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure guest health and compliance with regulations
