Job Requirements

Must be 21 years of age
high school diploma or equivalent
excellent customer service and communication skills
ability to count money and change correctly
knowledge of cocktail ingredients and proper mixing and pouring techniques
availability to work nights, weekends, holidays and overtime as needed
must meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policy
physical mobility with reasonable accommodations
ability to respond to visual and oral cues
ability to work in constricting areas
tolerance for noise and bright lights
ability to work at a fast pace in crowded and noisy environments
ability to push, pull, carry and lift up to 25 pounds
ability to perform physical tasks including bending, reaching, twisting, and balancing in varying work areas

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

Monitoring guest consumption of alcohol and intervenes as needed according to guidelines
serving as ambassador of goodwill while working and at customer and public relations functions
appears in publicity photos
promoting casino events and programs
providing personalized service and uses guest name
resolving service problems according to guidelines
providing fast, friendly, professional beverage service to casino guests and beverage servers
preparing and pouring drink orders with proper portions and ingredients according to recipe, communicating with beverage servers, and presenting drinks to guests or servers as required
slicing and pitting fruit as required
operating and maintaining all equipment and utensils as required in accordance with established guidelines and safety procedures
operating a cash register/POS system, ringing proper amount into the register and giving the guest or server the correct change
accounting for all cash, charge and complimentary sales according to established procedures
maintaining integrity of all financial controls and responsibilities
works well with others, especially beverage servers, bartenders, barbacks, beverage supervisor, and slots supervisor
maintaining a clean and stocked workstation in accordance with established health and safety guidelines
