Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Must successfully complete ServSafe Alcohol training certification course
  • Previous bar experience preferred
  • Read, write legibly, understand and speak English
  • Excellent customer service/communication skills
  • Ability to count money and change correctly
  • Knowledge of cocktail ingredients and proper mixing and pouring techniques
  • Available to work required schedule including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime
  • Meet professional appearance standards as prescribed by company policy
  • Physically mobile with reasonable accommodation
  • Able to respond to visual and oral cues
  • Able to work in constricting areas
  • Able to tolerate second-hand smoke, noise, bright lights
  • Able to work in fast-paced, often crowded/noisy environments
  • Physically able to push, pull, carry and lift up to 25 lbs and perform bending, reaching, stooping, twisting, crouching, kneeling, and balancing

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Complete all required duties upon the opening and closing of the bar
  • Provide courteous service of frozen daiquiris and beverages, including offering samples and suggestive selling
  • Stock and maintain the bar area in a clean and orderly fashion
  • Clean, sanitize and lubricate daiquiri freezers according to schedule and instructions
  • Greet guests in a friendly manner to create an upbeat environment
  • Take drink orders and serve promptly while checking ID's and following Responsible Serving guidelines
  • Make drinks accurately according to recipes, including batch production and proper garnishing
  • Slice and pit fruit as required
  • Prepare and deliver guest food orders as needed
  • Monitor guest alcohol consumption and intervene as necessary
  • Serve as an ambassador of goodwill during work and public relations functions
  • Promote casino events and programs
  • Provide personalized service using guest names
  • Resolve service problems according to guidelines
  • Operate and maintain equipment and utensils following safety procedures
  • Operate cash register/POS systems accurately and maintain financial integrity
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues including servers, bartenders, barbacks, and supervisors
  • Maintain a clean and stocked workstation meeting health and safety standards
  • Maintain cleanliness of restaurant, bar, and guest areas
  • Perform any additional duties assigned by supervisor or management
