Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- prior experience as a bartender in a hotel or high-volume establishment preferred
- excellent customer service and communication skills
- strong knowledge of alcoholic beverages, cocktails, and drink recipes
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- basic math and cash handling skills
- ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights up to 25 lbs
- certification in bartending or mixology is an asset
- must meet state and local age requirements for serving alcohol
- responsible beverage service certification may be required
- availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- ability to work in a loud and busy environment

Job Duties
- Greet guests promptly with a warm and friendly demeanor
- take beverage orders from guests
- provide recommendations and answer questions about drink selections
- prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes
- mix ingredients such as liquor, soda, water, sugar, and bitters to prepare cocktails and other drinks
- serve alcohol responsibly including refusing service to intoxicated individuals and verifying customer identification
- maintain a clean and organized bar area
- stock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
- clean glasses, utensils, and bar equipment
- ensure the bar complies with all health and safety regulations
- process payments from guests using cash, credit cards, or room charges
- balance cash receipts and transactions at the end of each shift
- work closely with other hotel staff members to provide a seamless guest experience
- communicate effectively with team members and management
- participate in bar staff meetings and training sessions
- assist with bar promotions, events, and special occasions
- handle guest complaints and concerns promptly and professionally
